Your Akasha: Light Code Signature That Conveys Your State of Consciousness

by Purusha Radha

You are a living universal database, Starseed — a magnificent repository of all your recorded history across 26,000 years of lifetimes. Edgar Cayce called this Living Library, God’s Book of Remembrance, or the Book of Life — the Akasha.¹ According to Cayce, each soul writes its record within the larger field he calls God’s Book of Remembrance, Akashic Records, Universal Consciousness.

“Upon time and space is written the thoughts, the deeds, the activities of an entity — as in relationships to its environs, its hereditary influence… the record is God’s Book of Remembrance… and each entity, each soul — as the activities of a single day of an entity in the material world — either makes same good or bad or indifferent, depending upon the entity’s application of Self…” — Edgar Cayce Reading 1650-1

We know the individual soul as recorder of all our thoughts and deeds across lifetimes but it is not identical with Akasha. Rather:

  • The soul (in its higher aspect) is a differentiated ray or spark that arises from, and remains rooted in, the universal Soul that is Akasha.

  • The soul participates fully in the universal recording process. Its spiritual Essence leaves enduring impressions in the pure Akashic field, while its personal, terrestrial experiences are mirrored in Astral Light.²

Your soul resides just back of the heart, weighing approximately 13 ounces.³ The soul is not separate from Akasha but is rooted in and continually participates in it.

This living root connection reaches into the Akasha that hovers at the center core of your being — the space of profound Isness, your Zero Point — where you are aligned to God the Infinite and your Lavender Flame Christ I AM.

Mme. Helena Petrovna Blavatsky described the Akasha as “the universal Soul, the Matrix of the Universe, the ‘Mysterium Magnum’ from which all that exists is born by separation or differentiation. It is the cause of existence; it fills all the infinite Space; is Space itself…”

Your soul makes a continuous impression upon the Akasha with every recording of thought and deed. This is the very substance of your consciousness.

Cayce is direct on this point:

  • The individual entity/soul itself writes the record “upon the skein of time and space.” Every thought, deed, activity, and application of will leaves its imprint. That is why he called it both the soul’s own Book of Life and God’s Book of Remembrance.

Blavatsky offers a hierarchical distinction that expands the picture:

  • The purified, spiritual ideations of the higher Ego (“Spiritual Man”) impress themselves upon pure Akasha.

  • The more personal, emotional, and “animal-man” thoughts and deeds are recorded in the Astral Light, which she calls the “dregs” or lower reflection of Akasha.

In both systems the soul is an active recorder that leaves lasting impressions in the greater field of Akasha. Think of your Akasha, therefore, as the living mirror of your state of consciousness.

What Akasha Truly Means — Sanskrit Meaning All-Pervading Light

Akasha is a Sanskrit word: ākāśa (आकाश). Conventional sources often reduce it to “ether,” “space,” or “sky.” The deeper linguistic reality is far more luminous.

The word is formed from the prefix ā- and the root kāś.

  • Ā- carries the sense of “extensively,” “all around,” “towards,” or “completely.”

  • The root kāś means “to shine,” “to appear,” “to become visible,” “to be brilliant.”

Together they give ākāśa the meaning of vast, extensive shining, an all pervading Light in which all things appear and become known.

Ka is your Light. It is the Light of your Mer-ka-bah and the crystal pyramids of Light in your bone marrow.

Your Akasha is not empty space. It is luminous space. It is the field of Divine Eternal Light Itself.

Blavatsky’s Vision: The Subtle Essence Beyond Ether

Helena Petrovna Blavatsky knew Akasha was far more than the ether of the physicists. From the Theosophical Glossary(published posthumously in 1892 from her notes), we read:

“Âkâsa (Sk.). The subtle, supersensuous spiritual essence which pervades all space; the primordial substance erroneously identified with Ether. But it is to Ether what Spirit is to Matter, or Âtmâ to Kâma-rûpa. It is, in fact, the Universal Space in which lies inherent the eternal Ideation of the Universe in its ever-changing aspects on the planes of matter and objectivity, and from which radiates the First Logos, or expressed thought. This is why it is stated in the Purânas that Akâsa has but one attribute, namely sound, for sound is but the translated symbol of Logos — ‘Speech’ in its mystic sense.”

Akasha is the primordial creative substance God the Infinite used to bring creation into being. Many spiritual philosophies recognize it as the fifth element — the unifying energy that holds the other four together in coherent relationship.

Akasha is both:

  • storehouse of the past and

  • living matrix of future possibility.

Your Living Library and the Creative Power of What You Fill It With

Your Akasha is the sum total of your issuing thoughts and consciousness, all reflected within it. The more thoughts of a particular quality fill your Akasha, the more strongly you attune to the matching timeline reality and then live it.

A long time ago I was severely depressed. Miserable in my marriage, I wanted out of life. I would get in the car, drive down the road, and wish the car would lift off the ground and fly into the heavens. I knew that there I would be happy and never return.

I imagined this quite a lot but I never realized how powerful such imagination was. Back then, I never realized I was filling my Akasha with consciousness of leaving the planet.

My body began to respond. It grew weak and sickly. Exhaustion claimed me by early afternoon. Responding to old beliefs that to leave the planet one must wither and die, my body started to comply. I was well on the way to death, not understanding that my Akasha was simply fulfilling the wishes I had unconsciously impressed into it.

This is what happens to many who live in depression. And it’s what makes the body start to mirror the mind into sickness and breakdown because mentally depressed people are rarely, if ever, full of radiant vitality and health.

Luckily, I had an appointment with my Divine Mother a few months in. She confronted me with the truth.

She gazed into the center region of my Being and told me I had so filled my Akasha with thoughts of leaving the planet my subconscious was moving into action to make it manifest.

I had no idea of the power of those imaginings I had used as temporary escape. And this is why you have to be very conscious of how you use your mind.

When I realized the scope of what I had attracted, I was floored. I had allowed people to run all over me and only alone in the car did I feel safe and powerful. I was using the power of my mind all wrong.

You Might See Your Akasha During Stargate Travels

I have often viewed my Akasha during some of my Stargate time travel journeys.

Your Zero Point is a Stargate. You don’t always travel into outer dimensions and realms in conscious time travel. Sometimes you go within, very deep within, as you dive through your nexus and Zero Point. As I’ve floated in consciousness through the Corridor of Light spiraling inward from my Point Zero Stargate, I have many times become very aware of my Akasha and its codes.

As you move through the corridor, all of your timelines — whether you perceive them to be past, present or future, appear etched into the corridor’s “walls.” Wherever and to whatever point in time you travel, the amazing truth about time travel is that you move within your own Akasha.

Working with Akasha: Vital to Healing

Similar to how my Divine Mother did it with me, a well seasoned healer/Lightworker can look into your Akasha to more deeply understand your condition. Actually, a rare and highly adept reader can know the entirety of a soul simply by looking into its Akasha.

Some healers can access your Akasha’s River of Knowledge and Light and it helps them know how to proceed. But you as the person receiving the healing must first give permission for them to look. Doing so, you become a full participant in the healing.

We also become aware of another’s Akasha through close intimate contact when auric fields are intertwined. This is why you always want to be conscious about your choice of partner. In mutual intimacy we become privy to one another’s records — not always as words, but as flash visions, feelings and sudden insights. Rather than become exhausted always having to work to keep your aura protected from taking on another’s trauma codes, choose your intimate partner carefully.

Feeding Your Akasha the Light It Is

Our Akashic Records exert tremendous influence upon our lives, health, relationships, feelings, belief systems, and the potential realities we draw to us. Becoming intimate and conscious with our Akasha helps us learn who we are.

As Cayce taught, even the activities of a single day create records that are either uplifting, destructive, or null — depending upon how we apply ourselves.

Become aware of your Akasha. Feed it the Light that it is. Flood it with genuine, creative, uplifting thought. Your Akasha will, in turn, lift you higher.

Akashic Oneness — The Universal Mind Within Us All

Together, we all form the universe’s vast computer database, capable of recording the Light codes of infinite multiverses. This database is Universal Mind, and it is Universal Mind that connects each of us with every other.

These records contain the essence of every archetypal symbol and mythic story that has ever shaped human experience. They inspire dreams and invention. They draw us toward one another or repel us. They mold levels of consciousness. They are a portion of Divine Mind — the unbiased guide that seeks to educate and transform every individual into the highest expression of what she or he can be.

We tend to believe we walk the planet vulnerable and woefully unequipped. Yet when we remember the vastness of the Akasha that lives within and all around us — the All-Knowing that already resides at our Zero Point — how can we ever again claim to be alone, powerless, or assailable?

Focus on all the Divine Essence that comprises your entire Being. Become intimate with your I Am Zero Point, the all pervading Light of your own Akasha. There the River of Knowledge flows — quietly yet gushingly — and it holds the answers to every question, because in the timelessness of Existence, everything has already happened and your Akasha has recorded it. Fill your Akasha with the consciousness of a Master if you would live a grand life. Impregnate your Akasha with the most worthy and beautiful food called Light, Light, Light and more Light.

² A simple definition of the Astral Light (according to Blavatsky): The Astral Light is the lower, reflective “dregs” or phosphorescent radiation of pure Akasha. It is the invisible, subtle psychic atmosphere that surrounds the Earth (and every other globe). It acts as a living photographic plate or mirror that indelibly records every thought, feeling, word, and deed — especially those of the personal, “animal” side of human nature. Unlike eternal, undifferentiated Akasha (the universal Soul and pure divine consciousness), the Astral Light is periodic, changeable, and mixed with matter. It is the medium through which the higher, pure Ideation of Akasha becomes accessible to human thought, and it is the actual storehouse of the ordinary records that most people today call the “Akashic Records.”
