What Are Starseeds? They're About Serving Others—Not Narcissism

Starseed, let’s clear the air. There’s growing chatter online about us, and I was recently taken aback to read a claim on Reddit labeling Starseeds as narcissistic and ego-driven. Anyone making such a statement truly lacks understanding of what are Starseeds. I’d like to set that record straight with kindness and insight.

The Misconception: Starseeds and Narcissism

This notion likely stems from a misinterpretation I’ve encountered myself, although it could be a devious plant (explained later in this article).

An actualized advanced Starseed is the exact opposite of narcissistic. And I’m glad I had relatively recent experiences with narcissists (including a few Starseeds with narcissistic traits) so I’m super clear on what it means to be a narcissist.

Starseeds, at our core, stand in stark contrast to narcissism, though we all grapple with ego like any human.

Ego’s Challenge: A Universal Struggle

Yes, we have egos to tangle with, just like everyone else, and a a mind run wild can get the better of us. Yet, we actively work every day, every moment, to rise above ego’s grip, striving to embody humility rather than arrogance.

Elitism Trap: An Honest Misstep

I suspect some equate Starseeds with narcissism because of elitism some of us exhibit—an ego-driven pride that creeps in from societal conditioning.

Raised to believe our religion, school, or heritage reigns supreme, we can fall into arrogance as adults as we begin realizing our Starseed identity. This trap, however, is the opposite of the humble heart a truly awakened Starseed cultivates.

Partial Truth: Ego in Early Stages

Those Reddit voices speak a partial truth.

Starseeds do enormously wrestle with ego. Some Starseeds are not the best examples, this is true.

There will be always be some bad apples in any population of people. I can’t say we have perfection in our population.

But awakened Starseeds recognize ego as our number one challenge to overcome rather than accepting it as defining trait.

Daily Vigilance: Vanquishing the Entropic Serpent

I don't ever want to experience the discomfort or misery ego brings. And I certainly don't want to be always out for myself.

To counter any potential, I weave these affirmations into my morning prayer practice, and then I stay vigilant all day to adjust less-than-pure thoughts.

I proclaim:

I fully express the vibrum of the Eagle and the Hawk. Like the Hawk, I have decisively vanquished the entropic serpent.

For me, that serpent is ego, and most Starseeds in action strive to banish it 24/7.

Serving Others: The Starseed’s True Drive

Starseeds in full actualization shine as the opposite of narcissists who excessively admire themselves.

We admire the God within us and live for service to others, making it our driving force.

Narcissists, by contrast, serve only themselves, mirroring the service-to-self darkness that seeks to control this planet.

Dark Forces at Play: A Selfish Agenda

This leads me to believe the Reddit statements come from service-to-self entities—true narcissists—working to derail real Starseeds.

Their mission is to throw you off track.

If they can put a statement like this out there and get newly awakening seeds to believe it, maybe they’ll reject their starry heritage. And then they’ve accomplished their goal.

There truly is a force at work doing all it can to prevent Starseeds from remembering themselves. They need Earth to remain in lower frequency so they can continue to exist.

These dark controllers can’t ascend to New Earth. And they certainly don’t want to be left behind without energy to feed on when most ascend. They’re doing everything they can to sabotage us but it will fail.

Inversion Tactic: A Tool of Deception

The claim Starseeds are narcissists is a lie, planted to deter masses of yet awakening Starseeds from pursuing their mission and realizing their true selves.

This inversion—a diversionary tactic—twists many of our high spiritual concepts, symbols and deeds, an example being serving others. They use these inversions against humanity to achieve their own selfish ends.

Starseeds must read and feel information with total discernment to uncover how true it is.

Self-Reflection: Monitoring Our Path

We need to monitor ourselves—step outside ourselves as an observer, and ask:

  • Are my thoughts and words in a group of people always and only about myself?

  • Do I enter a room of people and launch into my day’s troubles, loudly, maybe even obnoxiously?

  • Are my thoughts, intentions and actions those of giving or taking?

  • Or am I always inquiring as to another person’s well-being, genuinely, from the heart?

Only by seeing ourselves clearly can we refine our character to match the true Starseed vibrum.

Awakening to Service: Overcoming Selfishness

We need to take care of ourselves first—to be the best we can be in service to Earth and her people. This is not selfish. It's selfless.

But there's a line you can cross and because of it, you've got to stay vigilant with yourself.

We've all been quite selfish at one time or another. And we tend to get the most self-centered and absorbed when we don't take care of ourselves in a loving way first.

I look back and I’m abhorred by my selfish behaviors. And I can also pinpoint that those were the times I wasn’t well taking care of myself. I got needy.

The key is realizing the ugliness of selfishness and self-absorption. It's not becoming of a Christ and our Christ waits to be revealed.

Notice and then quickly shift to service to others even if that service begins with kind inner thoughts you radiate toward others. Then vow to banish the self-absorbed behavior that ego loves to perpetuate in you. And then don’t get frustrated when it’s a battle.

The statement that Starseeds are narcissistic holds true only in part; we all wrestle with ego until we transform or transcend it.

A Call to Serve: Your Higher Purpose

Starseed, don’t let this misconception derail you. Understand everyone wrestles with ego and self-absorption until we consciously transform it into thoughts of others’ well-being, into serving others. But to describe the Starseed as narcissistic is either ignorant or manipulative. Either way, the statement’s indicative of the very entities who are narcissistic themselves.

Starseed FAQs

Are Starseeds truly narcissistic? No, starseeds aren’t inherently narcissistic; the label stems from ego struggles some face, but awakened starseeds actively serve others, not themselves. I’ve met narcissists and know we strive to rise above that, focusing on humility and service.

How can serving others define my Starseed mission? Serving others is your Starseed mission’s heartbeat, transforming ego into a force for good. I weave daily affirmations to stay vigilant, and you can too, rippling grace to help Earth ascend. It’s what sets us apart from service-to-self darkness.

What should I do if I struggle with ego as a Starseed? If ego challenges you, step outside yourself as an observer, asking if your actions serve others or self. I adjust my thoughts daily with affirmations to vanquish the entropic serpent of ego, and you can transform selfishness into serving others with practice.
