The Ankh Still Does & Always Will Inspire the Breath of Eternal Life

by Purusha Radha

I’ve noticed many people find their way to this site because of my articles on the Ankh. Something in that looped cross still speaks to us, not as costume jewelry or museum caption but a symbol that named eternal life itself — nḫ.

This article isn’t another tour of hieroglyphs. Rather, it’s a walk through:

  • the hallowed hall whose axis is breath and life eternal,

  • the two clocks we’re living within at this time, and

  • the cost of diving in to others’ suffering and decay it hampers our own journey for their classrooms are not our own.

A towering Ankh of living gold light stands in a dark plum hall. An ancient Egyptian woman in a gold dress faces it in profile while a stream of gold and pale-pink light flows from the Ankh’s loop across the open space.

How I First Learned About the Looped Cross

As I embarked on my Starseed journey decades ago, I was blessed to be guided by my Divine Mother from the future Pleiades, eighteen dimensions removed. As she spoke through her oracle in those early days, I noted how she stressed the importance of certain things. One of them was the Ankh — and how Starseeds utilized it in our early days of Alatia, ancient Egypt.

I got very profoundly that this symbol was vital to the Starseed life and journey. Only much later, after many years of evolution, did I really and truly understand the sacred geometry, the vitality, and the frequency of this looped cross.

For another thing my Divine Mother stressed — as have many other transcendent Ascended Masters — was that we do not have to decease our physical bodies.

There is another way:

to live forever by ascending the flesh body.

The human body was never designed to break down, decay, take on disease, and die.

Starseeds especially, who are Elohim Creator Gods, know this intrinsically. But it’s always curious to me how, knowing this Truth, so many of us still default to the 3D program of decay, disease, and death of the flesh.

I believe the Ankh imparts an increasing, flourishing, spiraling life frequency when it is held, viewed, contemplated, and felt. It’s not merely a pretty symbol to some and a frightful one to others.

It is a current. It speaks with a voice that still says, “Live!”

In ancient Alatia, as in many other epochs throughout these last 26,000 years, Higher Realms Beings brought this same teaching the Ankh conveys to Earth. In ancient Egypt it was the frequency-carrying symbol of the Ankh. In later, more modern times, it has simply been transcendent Pleiadian Gods and Goddesses speaking through oracles to convey the Truth:

No one need decease their body unless they truly want to. The body was designed to live forever.

The Ankh Hieroglyph: Life Written as a Shape

The Ankh is itself a hieroglyph — the sign Egyptologists catalog as Gardiner sign S34.

It writes the word nḫ: life, to live, the breath of life.

It appears in inscriptions from the First Dynasty onward, around 3100–2900 BCE, and then everywhere later Egyptian writing exists: temple walls, stelae, papyri, coffins, tomb inscriptions.

Far more than what many view as a side ornament in Pharaonic tomb and temple painting, the Gods — Isis, Osiris, Anubis, Hathor and the rest — hold up the Ankh to the king’s nose so he may receive the breath of life. They poured streams of tiny Ankhs over him like water.

You can find these scenes in New Kingdom tombs in the Valley of the Kings, in nobles’ tombs at Thebes, in temples at Abydos and Karnak. Because many of those tombs are rock-cut, people sometimes call them cave paintings but they are more correctly, formal, historic decoration.

Egypt’s actual prehistoric desert art — the Cave of Swimmers at Gilf Kebir, the predynastic drawings of the Eastern and Western Deserts — shows animals, hunts, boats, abstract signs. The standardized Ankh crystallizes only once hieroglyphic writing and royal iconography take shape around 3200–3000 BCE.

So the short, honest record is this: The Ankh is ubiquitous in dynastic hieroglyphs and in tomb and temple relief but not a feature of the much older cave art.

What it became, once advanced beings, our Starseed kin from the Higher Realms, introduced it to the Alatians, is the sign you face when you enter the ‘house of the mystery.’

It was part of ancient Egypt’s triad of life, stability, and power:

  • Ankh — life, breath, the living current

  • djed — stability, the spine that holds

  • was — power, dominion, the staff of authority

Temples and tombs treat it the way later churches treat the cross: the object that names what the building is for.

A large Ankh set front and center would be the logical architectural expression of a similar theology to Christianity’s: eternal life reminded to all right at the axis of the hall.

The Hall Whose Central Sign Is Life

One evening I projected myself through a Stargate for a precise reason: I wanted to see how we of ancient Alatia — past lifetimes for very many Starseeds — utilized the Ankh.

I found myself in a great hall, a temple, with a giant-sized Ankh front and center. In that time travel projection, the Ankh was massive and glowing golden.

This journey utilized the same faculty and method I’ve detailed in my book,  Conscious Time Travel: How to Travel Through Time, Space and Dimensions.¹I usually do not advise practicing conscious time travel in order to go back into the past. The past is over and done. It’s static. It contains no energy for you to use in the Now. Only travel back in time when you know for certain that what you find there will benefit you now. This was one of those journeys.

That one scene conveys how vitally important the Ankh was to our lives and beliefs about life. I also saw how we used the Ankh, of course, as a kind of amulet we wore. Where the more modern Christian churches place the crucifix, we had the Ankh — which, of course, very much predated the time of Yeshua ben-Joseph.

What I saw fits the role the Ankh actually held, even if a giant glowing focal piece is more temple vision than what usually survives in stone. In the record, the Ankh is by no means a side ornament. It is the sign for life itself.

Key of Life, Breath of Life, Eternal Life

Archaeology may not prove a personal lifetime but it does show why that symbol would feel integral if you were living inside that culture. Every blessing, every purification, every hope of breath after death ran through that looped cross.

  • We called the dead ankhu— the living.

  • We prized the loop of the Ankh as a circuit carrying life frequency.

We call the Ankh the Key of Life, and its shape is not an accident of language. It looks like a key you would turn in a lock.

  1. Hold the stem.

  2. Enter the closed place called death and decay.

  3. Turn.

What opens is not a grave but a circuit — eternal, immortal life.

But Egypt Is Filled with Tombs

You may say, “But for all that talk of the Ankh, Egypt is filled with the tombs of dead people.” And yes — most did decease their bodies during those times. But some did not.

There will always be the small number of people who take a teaching and apply it with dedication and focus, no matter how much it demands of them. Those who ascended their flesh bodies during that epoch would go forth nameless and without notoriety, for an Ascended Master is humble.

We read the same thing in Life and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East.² There we meet a cohort of Ascended Masters, many hundreds of years old in our way of measurement, living in young vibrant bodies, in service to the planet.

When the Looped Cross Lost Prominence

Two things can be true at once.

A large part of later Western Christianity did teach people to treat signs of aging and decay as anathema to life but more so in word than in action and real belief. Instead, the Church made “pagan” a moral (or more so, immoral) category. And so they scorned the Ankh as breath of life.

The Ankh became an idol, a rival cross, something you were supposed to flinch from. Fear is an efficient teacher. If the looped cross once meant you may live, the sermon that replaced it often meant you are already condemned unless you submit to their laws and rules. This dogma is real in European and colonial teaching. It’s not a rumor anyone invented.

Still, the Church was not one mind. Egyptian Christians kept the Ankh and folded it into the crux ansata — the handled cross — precisely because it already meant eternal life.

Monasteries also ran hospitals. The same institution that preached terror also copied medical texts, buried the dead from plagues, and argued that the body was not garbage but a holy vessel.

Fear and life, suppression and preservation, both sat in the same pew as they still do today. We speak out of both sides of our mouths as they say. But which is it?

What people were taught to abhor or disbelieve in the Ankh was unmediated life — the idea that vitality could stand in a temple without a priest explaining why you were unworthy of it.

That’s the nerve the vision of a giant Ankh at the front of a hall is touching. It doesn’t say, “Kneel or be lost.” It says, “This hall exists because life is the point.”

Belief Is an Environment the Body Lives In

A belief system can make you smaller or larger.

All the sermons in the world from priests, bishops, ministers, gurus or free-thinking people do not cancel impure water, poor diet, raving bacteria or war in the mind of a person who believes he or she will inevitably die as a result of physical environment.

The honest Truth is this:

  • A religion that centers itself around guilt and shame will always make the flesh body feel like a problem.

  • A medical system that centers itself on all powerful physicians you give your power to will also make the body a thing to tamper with rather than treat it like a prize.

  • A symbol and belief system that centers itself on the breath of life will not.

We must be responsible for and accountable to our selves, our very lives.

Your thinking, thoughts, beliefs create the environment your body lives in. Diet, viruses, bacteria, environment aren’t the only factors. Diet, exercise and taking care of yourself — these all matter.

But attitude is critical. You build it from the soil of your beliefs.

The attitude of fear that never turns off changes breath, posture, sleep, and what a person thinks they are allowed to desire.

You can see it everywhere you go. The hunched over walk is often the body agreeing with a story that life is already over.

Attitude is how we instruct the nervous system that has power over our glands, hormones and whether we build up or tear down life.

We’re all living here on Earth amid all sort of conditions. Belief decides how we meet them — whether we collapse, comply, or maintain a spine and encourage the syntropy of life.

Material factors may be the floor you stand on but your belief often sets the ceiling and even the ability to penetrate the ceiling.

Two people can eat poorly. One advances toward death ravaged by illness and the other stands vibrantly as if he has a future.

Our culture that trains us to absolutely expect decay produces an awful lot of people who believed the lies.

The Ankh side of that argument is simple.

If the central sign in the hall I saw in my projection is life, the body is not this thing you lug around and are forced to deal with. If your central sign is unworthiness or a refusal to look beyond to see and remember the Truth of you, your body will start serving that unworthiness.

  • Bacteria, famine, and war may be facts. But belief is the climate those facts are lived in.

  • When the central sign is life, these conditions don’t vanish but they do indeed stop being the entire sermon.

Moses, Focus, and a Body Fit for Service

Moses (from the Higher Realms as are you, Starseed) was one of those ancient Egyptians.

If ever there was a sharply focused entity, it was Moses. You have to have a good body to serve the way that Moses did and restoring your body to its rightful Original Divine Blueprint does take focus.

Well past one hundred years, and with a saggy baggy old body as you can imagine, through a mystical life, Moses created for himself a more robust pituitary gland — the Master Gland of the body — and began reversing in age, creating a virile young body which would carry him through his greatest endeavors.

Two Earths in a deep plum and gold sky: the living emerald-blue Earth on the left, and a more luminous Terra on the right with a glowing gold Ankh at its heart, joined by a stream of gold and pale-pink light.

Age of Aquarius, Terra, New Earth: Two Clocks at Once

We are moving into the age of Aquarius — called Terra, New Earth — where those ‘facts’ and conditions will no longer exist. For now, we must detach from them in order to thrive. You must do more than muster a better mood inside the old room. You must create a change of regime.

If Terra is the hall whose central sign is life, and it absolutely is, then war, decay, and scarcity are not eternal laws. They’re fleeting, impermanent and actually, illusory.

They serve as furniture in the previous room, the one we live in now. Cling to them as ‘the real world’ is how you keep yourself in the old room. Detach from them and live free.

Detachment doesn’t mean you’re in denial. It means you refuse to rent your attention to a story you believe, you know, is ending.

Two clocks are running at once in this world of cognitive dissonance.

  • On the outer clock, toxicity and nutritional deficiency destroy while nations fight. That clock has not stopped on this planet.

  • However, on the inner clock is where you stop treating those things as the last word about what your body is for or how to live in it.

The Age of Aquarius we’re entering heralds a shift:

from fear-as-glue to life-as-axis.

The furniture of the old room is slowly vaporizing. We’re headed for the great mansion of the Ankh of eternal life but don’t wait for it to overtake you.

Become it now.

But remember, you cannot midwife a hall of life to walk through while you bow down to the so-called facts of the grave as if they were God. The Gods who created the human body didn’t make junk. They designed the body to last forever.

So detach from the heaviness of third dimensional ways and beliefs enough to stand strong and tall. Stay clear-eyed enough to keep your body on an expansive trajectory. That is the narrow path between the two clocks but you can do it. Begin now if you haven’t already.

Sensitivity, Detachment, and the Stance of the Ascended Masters

As you go higher in spiritual evolution you become more sensitive, more intuitive, more knowing. This can be both blessing and a curse for you will not just witness but feel a great deal of suffering in others. You mustn’t take their suffering on yourself. Do this and you help no one.

This is what the Ascended Masters have had to do. They came to a place where they could accept the choices others make, all the while loving them, without diving into their miseries.

As the field thins, other people’s choices get louder. You don’t only see the hunched over walk. You feel the story that bent that spine. If you take that story on as yours to fix or suffer through on some level, that sensitivity can turn into a second illness for yourself.

Detachment isn’t aloof coldness but a refusal to colonize someone else’s will within yourself.

The Masters’ stance, used this way, is almost surgical:

Love the being, but do not enter the contract they signed for their own evolution.

Acceptance doesn’t mean you agree. It means you recognize how important it is that all other souls are allowed to keep their purposely designed classroom. If you dive in with them, you add a second drowning of yourself.

Stand beside the water and you remain someone they can still see should they ever look up.

Your work, Starseed, is not to drag anyone out of drowning waters but to love them through it and stand as example of radiant life. You are here to keep the sign lit without climbing into their grave to prove you care.

It is difficult to witness people degenerating in their bodies all around you and still hold yourself upright — to actually move in the opposite direction, reversing aging and holding a body inviolate to sickness and decay.

It’s an enormous challenge. I know this intimately as I have hurt for loved ones and others I don’t even know. But I have learned that detaching from their choices is the only way forward. I have had to learn to honor everyone’s choices, because each one of us has written our script quite meticulously and deftly, and for purposes of our own intrinsic evolution.

A glowing gold Ankh and a simple wooden crucifix stand on level dusk ground under a warm deep plum sky, joined by a stream of gold light with small colored sparkles.

Ankh and Crucifix: The Loop, the Hill, and the Current That Returns

The crucifix is very much like the Ankh, just minus the top loop that signifies the cycling of energy, flow, foreverness.

Yes. That is the whole argument in one piece of wood.

The Ankh is a cross with a loop that breathes:

Cycle, return, current never terminate in a point as does the crucifix.

Remove the loop and you still keep the axis — the vertical representation of heaven and the horizontal of the world — but you lose the eternal circuit.

What remains can be read as a once-and-done event: one death, one line, an ending that must be believed rather than a flow that keeps moving.

This is why the Egyptian Christians didn’t fully subtract the loop from the Coptic crux ansata. They kept the handle of life on the Christian cross because they still needed the sign to mean forever, beyond finished.

The loop is the circuit: life that goes out and comes back.

A crucifix without the loop can still mean Love and sacrifice. It does not, by itself, mean the current is still running. The missing oval is the difference between a story that ends on a hill and a current that does not know how to die.

Except that Yeshua did resurrect and ascend after the crucifixion on the hill.

There the loop isn’t carved into the wood but enacted in real life!

Yeshua’s resurrection and ascent are the current continuing to flow — from the cross, out of the tomb, through the body, beyond the burial place.

Yeshua’s story puts back what the Church’s bare cross does not draw: return instead of termination.

So the two signs — Ankh and crucifix — aren’t enemies.

  • The Ankh demonstrates the circuit of eternal life you face in the hall of mystery.

  • The Yeshua narrative shows the circuit as a Master who goes down and comes through.

Both are beautiful geometries. Both are insisting on the same refusal:

Death is not the last mansion.

The missing oval on the crucifix is only a problem if the story stops on Friday. The loop of life still exists even when not constructed in timber.

Why Apply the Teaching of Ankh Now, If Terra Is Coming?

So if we’re advancing into New Earth, Terra — which is of a whole other vibratory frequency where death of the physical is no more — why then should any of us apply the teachings of immortality? Why should we remind ourselves of the most magical time of ancient Alatia and the Ankh? Why should we be inspired by the stories of the Himalayan Masters and join them?

Because we are Starseed Wayshowers. That is why.

Starseeds don’t wait for something to happen to us like a wave of massive energy or a flash of Light to transform us. We create that massive wave of energy. We create our own flash of Light.

The teaching of immortality, and all the Ankh conveys both energetically and symbolically, is a foundational teaching for all of humanity going forward into New Earth.

Everyone will have healthy young bodies restored to them, but there will be much to acclimate to, and this fundamental teaching of eternal life must become internalized by everyone, all the way to the atoms of our Beings. We mustn’t take for granted any Divine Gift such as this one. We must appreciate our Divine Inheritance wholly and ground it utterly in every cell of our Beings.

Starseed Wayshower, embrace the immortal frequency of Ankh and radiate it outward to all!
